We are looking for an Engineering Manager to our client. This particular team is responsible for a Ruby on Rails solution that retrieves and processes audio and e-books from publishers to our service.
Start: ASAP
Length: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Must be in Stockholm. They usually work at the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from home on Wednesdays. It’s not the most important thing, but it’s good if one can be at the office.
The particular team is the only team not using Java compared to the rest of the company. Additionally, all but one of the team members are located in France as they became part of the client through an acquisition a couple of years ago. You need to be a senior consultant who can easily become a team member and do hands-on Ruby work.

- Have knowledge of Ruby on Rails
- Have managerial experience
- Be able to critically evaluate both individuals (skills and attitude) and team performance (working methods, processes, dynamics, tech)
