Job description:
As a UX writer you will be a key part of a small content team within Digital&IT, working to enhance airline and travel-related content on the digital channels. We are evolving our digital experience and exploring new content types to create engaging, easy-to-understand information for our customers using multimedia formats such as images, video, and potentially other interactive content. You will play an essential role in transforming how we present (sometimes complex) information with our users, collaborating closely with design and digital product teams to deliver clear, intuitive, and interactive content for our customers.
While strong copywriting skills are important, this position is specifically focused on UX writing, multimedia content creation, and content management. You’ll handle updates and improvements that extend beyond traditional copywriting, utilizing new technologies to make our content both engaging and accessible.
Responsibilities
- Write clear and concise user-interface content in English.
- Create and integrate multimedia content (images, videos, animations) to improve clarity and engagement.
- Ensure all content follows accessibility requirements, style guide as well as branding and design guidelines.
- Review and proofread texts for grammar, spelling, and style.
- Optimize content for user experience, conversion, and SEO using customer data and insights.
- Maintain consistency in messaging and clarity across all website content.
- Manage and update and translate content through a headless CMS.
- Collaborate with design, product teams, the brand department, and stakeholders to create and integrate multimedia content (images, videos, animations) to improve clarity and engagement.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in English (and potentially other languages) with exceptional grammatical and stylistic sense.
- 2-4 years of professional experience with writing UX copy and product/service content
- Basic skills in image editing (e.g., Photoshop) and familiarity with creating visual content.
- Ability to integrate multimedia formats (video, images, animations) to make information more engaging.
- Experience in language reviewing and proofreading
- Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Contentful or similar)
- Familiarity with Figma for writing and collaborating with stakeholders and designers
- Detail-oriented with a focus on clarity, consistency, and user-centered content.
Preferred, but not required
- Fluency in one or more Scandinavian languages (or other languages)
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and accessibility requirements
- Experience in the travel industry or familiarity with travel related content.
- Interest or experience in creating storyboards, scripts, and interactive content formats.
- Experience working with video-editing software or animation tools
Education
- Relevant education within digital marketing, multimedia design or a related field.
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Media, IT, ecommerce or similar is advantageous
