The global e-commerce platform provides the consumer with real-time data from travel agencies, cruise specialists and cruise lines for an international market with multiple languages and currencies.
The concept is unique in its kind and enables consumers to be inspired and book cruises on all the world’s oceans and rivers from their smartphone or laptop. The platform constantly collects data so that the team can take data driven decisions on how to improve the platform. In the future that data will power their AI models to make it easier for the customer to find the best cruise for them.
The position
As a developer at Dreamlake you’ll be offered great personal responsibility and you’ll be encouraged to take your own initiatives. It’s important that you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a lot of energy and great passion.
We believe you are comfortable working in the entire stack from the server side (Azure) to coding Javascript (primarly React.js) in the frontend. The backend is written mostly in .NET/C# but they’re making a cruise towards Node.js.
It’s advantageous if you have experience with the technology Dreamlake uses, but the desire to learn and continuously keep yourself updated is more important.
You’ll work in a small team in close collaboration with experienced colleagues and continuously enable new features for their international customers. Together with your colleagues you’ll further develop the platform to handle more volumes, implement new services and develop the platform with focus on responsiveness, SEO, page speed and conversion.
To succeed in the position, we believe you have:
- At least three years of working experience
- Experience from a global context, e.g. multiple markets, languages and currencies
- Experience from microservice API architecture, building scalable and high-volume services
- A devops mindset that guides your work when it comes to maintainability, performance and security
At Dreamlake they love to see each other in the office but understands that sometimes you work better from somewhere else. They are flexible but would like you to work most of the time from their office at Hesselmans Torg in Sickla.
